Fish Ballet

A 4D project combining my love of editing software, Radiohead, and classical ballet (I trained for the first 18 years of my life believe it or not). Weird Fishes/Arpeggi has always sounded like ballet to me. I see dancers and fish swimming in all sorts of strange formations across the stage. I do not have access to dancing fish, but I do have myself, a camera, and a tripod. After recording several runs of improv, I clipped together individual dance moves along to the tune of the music to create what you see before you as the ballet. I utilize mixed media editing and animation techniques to bring Fish Ballet to life. This project was completed as a final for my Video Diaries class with Peter Braur. Thanks, Peter!
