Ax and the Hatchetmen
live at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor
Getting to shoot this gig in college was very sweet for me because I remember finding Ax and the Hatchetmen on TikTok of all things during covid. I'm about the same age as all of the guys in the band so it was fun to witness the difference between how I found them on my phone, to shooting for them at a real venue. Last Nite is also one of my favorite Strokes songs, so I was thrilled when they pulled this cover out.
Mahogany
live at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor
Mahogany was my dear friend Ejo's college band (he is the charming one singing). I loved shooting for these guys because it was always such a good time. Constant dancing and laughing. RIP Mahogany. I wood, you wood, we all wood.

I Have No Mouth
Live at Tangos in Lowell MA
My friend Bryce ran a house venue called Tangos while he was in college. I was lucky enough that he invited me to the last show EVER which I actually also designed the poster for. This was my first time seeing IHNM live and it blew my mind. I deep fried the fuck out of this video it blew my mind that hard.
Cedar Bend and Vup
live at a halloween party I threw with my friends
In college I used to do this stupid video series I called Not Dead Yet where I would follow my friends in bands around. The music scene in Ann Arbor is scarce, it's freaky. I wanted to prove something was happening somewhere. This one I shot at a Halloween party I threw with the little production company my friends and I had. RIP Common Ground.

Shards of Light
Sometimes I like to go through all of my video files and make compilations of things that make me cry. I'm sentimental, I can't help it. The audio is a voice memo I got a few years ago from my dear friend B, Postcard Nowhere, that was also saved on my computer. Thanks B.
